Description
Masalamagic’s chickpea flour, also called gram flour, is rich of proteins and gluten free. The flour can be used for gluten free baking, in Indian sauces and to give soups and desserts a thicker consistency.
Per 100 grams it contains 23 grams protein. Chickpea flour gives a low glycemic index and is very suitable for diabetics. The flour can be used while making waffles, pancakes and other types of baking, but cannot be replaced with the same amount as regular flour. Because it is gluten free, it does not have the same binding, and for baking with yeast it is suggested to combine with psyllium.
