Description
Papadam are gluten- and dairy free flatbread made of lentil flour. These can be served as a starter with soup, salads, taco or a side where bread or flatbread naturally is served. The tasteful bread can also be used as a healthy snack or cracker for the cheese platter. In India papadam is eaten while waiting for the main dishes to be served and we recommend papadam with our authentic chutneys and raita mix.
Each packet contains ten papadam, which are sundried. Prepare papadam quick and easily by preheating your oven to 250°, put the bread directly on a grid and keep them there for 30-40 seconds. Oil or water is not necessary. By storing the prepared papadams dry in an airtight box, they can easily last for weeks. The bread is very healthy because of the main ingredient lentil flour, which is a healthy supplement of protein in a daily diet. Per 100 grams they contain 18 grams protein and only 1 gram fat.
