Description
Side dishes are very common in the North-Indian cuisine. Raita is one of the most known side dishes, alongside different types of chutney and pickles. It is a cold sauce or dip that balance the taste of spices. The side dish is based on sour cream or curd, which is most preferable as it helps balance the consummation of spices in a meal. When serving Indian food, raita is served in a small bowl on the plate.
The raita mix is tasteful without being spicy and is suitable as a sauce when barbequing, serving tapas, fish or meat. In addition as a dip to chips, vegetables and Masalamagic’s gluten free papadam. Our mix contains spiced beads of lentil flour and has to be mixed with sour cream such as curd or natural yoghurt.
